Responding to this client’s desire for a wildlife-friendly landscape, we added understory shrubs and perennials to create a textured palette beneath large shade trees. Easy paths of decomposed granite and flagstone wind between beds planted with white mistflower, heartleaf skullcap, agave and a variety of blooming natives. A Montezuma Cypress allee leads to an expertly crafted stone patio and seating wall, accented with a stock tank pond. Butterflies and hummingbirds abound.
